    I hope you take very thorough pictures and report how OAD does, because the list of precautions, planning and expectations seem much more extensive and thoughtful. It would be very nice to have an a comprehensive “how to hold fan events in the era of covid-19” guide. I think a lot of event coordinators for nerd cons are just sort of stuck in the mindset of “this is what a con looks like, and that’s that.” Hopefully OAD can provide a guidemap to help others develop better, safer ways to hold events.

    I’m debating going to that one or Hero Hype. I have read that OAD has put out guidelines in advance, though, which feels like a step in the right direction.
