Best & Worst Comic Book Movies?

4

So a conversation on Facebook with some fellow movie geeks regarding Bryan Singer’s return to the X-Men franchise got me wondering: with the massive influx of comic movies over the past few years – how many are “the best” and “the worst”. Everyone has a list (I’m sure)… so here’s mine.  Keep in mind I am writing this off the top of my head and reserve the right to update my list based on feedback and my memory kicking in more clearly.

Also note that I am not the “comic geek” that Joey Snackpants is – so my films are chosen based on how often I have re-watched/can re-watch the film.  Fell free to post you top five/bottom five in replies.

My Top 5 Comic Book Movies
1. Superman: The Movie
2. The Dark Knight Returns
3. X2: X-Men United
4. Iron Man
5. Spiderman 2
Honorable mentions: The Crow

My Bottom 5 Comic Book Movies
1. Steel
2. Howard The Duck
3. The Punisher (1989)
4. Superman IV
5. Hulk
Honorable mentions: Batman & Robin, X3: The Last Stand, Superman Returns

just finished shooting an MTV's Made with Mike from @FLSuperCon...

I got a call about a week and a half ago from MTV regarding an upcoming episode of their series MADE.  Before you could say “Downtown Julie Brown” I found myself in a conversation regarding making an appearance on their reality show.

My first thought was “aren’t I too old to be on MTV?!”

Then someone pointed out that Madonna still makes music videos… so I should be fine.

So last weekend, I called Mike from Florida SuperCon and dragged him with me for some fun in Miami, Florida.  Here’s the article from Green Mustard:
