One. Thing. At. A. Time.

Hey Tom!  Your dog died.  You’re still cleaning up the fallout of your father’s suicide a couple of years ago.  Then there’s still the whole lost house fiasco that’s still unresolved.  OH – and then work! WasabiCon, Florida Anime Experience, Talent For Cons, and other unannounced contract and project awesomeness you can’t post publicly.  ALSO – don’t stop exercising.  It’s healthy and shit.  Is your mental hard drive crashing yet…?

Yes.

Yes it is.

This has been a busy summer, and it’s all hitting a head right now.  As a matter of fact, I *technically* don’t have time to blog.  Hell, I barely have time to breathe.  This morning, though, in the midst of trying to keep my sanity together I reminded myself of something that is often very easy to forget.

One. Thing. At. A. Time.

My brain is always thinking about no less than three things at any given moment.  As I’m typing this, I’m beating back the panic in my brain about a dozen other things on my plate…

But panic never works.

So after dealing with some WasabiCon advertising stuff this morning, I decided to tackle my email from a different direction.  One inbox at a time.  (I have a combined six.)  The fourth one, my GMail, had a photo I was saving to post regarding one of those zany random adventures I get caught up in.

Instead of ignoring it, however, I’m uploaded it.  Cataloged it.  And now here it is:

Splash Mountain 2016

What you are looking at is Shannon and I on Splash Mountain for the first time in YEARS last month.  We decided to ride on a whim since it was evening, summer, and just the two of us walking around.  In line in front of us waiting for the ride? A group of middle school cheerleaders.

The one with the pink phone is Snapchatting the ride.

The rest of them are “dabbing” and even convinced Shannon to do it with them.

I have no idea what the hell is going on.

So there you go.  An update!  Next one TBD and junk.
