I have been blogging and typing general nonsense online since March of 2003 – and somehow people starting reading the opinions and commentary of some guy living on the beach in Florida who liked anime, video games, and geek conventions.

I know it’s true… because I read it on the Internet. Therefore it MUST be gospel.

Go figure.

So after five years of living the LiveJournal life, I’ve decided to move my blog over here to Blogspot (or Blogger – depending on who you ask.)

  • Maybe it was because LJ was too hard to for non-LJ folks (like my less computer literate family) to make comments.
  • Maybe it was “OMG DRAMAZ” from people “friending” and “un-friending” each other and thinking that’s how the real world worked, too.
  • Maybe it was the writing on the wall that the site was on it’s way out.

Who knows. Whatever the reason, I still enjoy typing my thoughts and opinions out for fun… even if it does piss off the occasional web troll.

So in the next couple of days – the Wasabiverse (www.TomCroom.com) will move from there to here. I’ll still read my friends list on LJ from time to time – and maybe even comment if there is something I really REALLY need or want to say.

Beyond that – I’ll be more easily found here or Facebook (by those that actually know me.)
