And then I figured, why not?
Just before the success of the Kickstarter for InvaderCON III: FINAL DOOM for Green Mustard Entertainment, I started reading about how to handle things AFTER the fundraising was over. Unfortunately, I read a number of articles about how folks had funded some pretty cool projects but, for some reason or another, hadn’t gotten updates or information about what was happening with the project.
This didn’t sit well with me.
SO, at the last minute, I decided that myself and the GME team should actually film the work that goes into the #InvaderCON3 production over the next year. A production blog. Now, none of us are professional filmmakers, so the quality of this will be shaky at best – but it WILL be a way to keep the fans/supporters up to date on the Kickstarter.
So why is this on my personal blog and NOT on the InvaderCON website? Self-serving ego reasons aside, my personal blog has a disclaimer on it. (Scroll down to the bottom right… you’ll see it.) Since this is a “behind the scenes” sort of production, there’s a chance that we may come across personalities and people with opinions that may or may not fall in line with the GME corporate ideology. So, for now, this is less of a company project and more of a personal one.
In short: plausible deniability.
So enjoy the first few minutes of creating a convention with me and I hope to post more over the next year. Posts full of DOOOOOOOOM. (And stuff.)
