Good morning! It’s still in the AM here in Southern California. I am drinking Starbucks and my body is wondering why I am not having lunch.
I am waiting for members of the Anime Expo team to meet me down in the lobby of the Westin LAX so we can catch a shuttle to the airport.
FUN FACT: The Westin doesn’t have the standard free hotel lobby Wi-Fi, so I am typing this on my phone.
That is one of Marc’s (from AX) maps of Tokyo he gave me to look over. Allegedy the public transportation is in Tokyo is as easy as Chicago, D.C. and New York City (three places I have mastered.)
I have been informed that there isn’t Internet on our flight, so my next blog post probably won’t happen until tomorrow… AFTER 12 FREAKING HOURS ON A PLANE.
Luckily, the five hour jaunts back and forth to California these past few months have made me slightly adept to longer flights.
I will be tweeting a lot in Japan thanks to the ability to text, so you can keep dibs on the adventures of this geek in the land of anime there, too.
Stay tuned. 🙂
