I personally loved the fast food question. 🙂 I did meet JdL once and attended his solo Q&A. Yeah, he’s kind of reserved and serious. But nice. I talked to him about his role on Days of Our Lives, which is where I first saw him, and he seemed to appreciate that.

Totally jealous of your Quantum Leap picture.

It was good meeting you as well!

    Loved the EJO story. 🙂

And John de Lancie is very “srs bsns”. He is an Actor, with a capital A. 😉 Not saying he isn’t nice, he just seems like he doesn’t “get” the whole fandom thing.

And Zaxbys = win. I make my crew eat there on the way down to D*C each year because we don’t have them up here.

I just said “Oh my God!”… I never said it was Levar Burton, but I was much louder than I thought I was.

You forgot about the woman that recognized me for talking at conventions, and Dragon*Con going to be her last convention EVER! 🙂

I do not understand why you wish to continue to ruffle the feathers of those who you disagree with. Your like 40, aren’t you old enough to know how to move on?

    I’m not 40… yet.

Speaking of moving on, though, why are you still reading my personal blog? Shouldn’t you have “moved on” by now?

Thanks for posting an proving a point for me. 🙂

I don’t think Tigermegatron ever said he was 40, so your rejoinder falls somewhat flat.

Also, who said we’re reading this shit? I know I just love to fuck with you.

Actually Tom, I’ve been a regular reader of your blog for awhile now. I was turned on to your blog before the whole BotCon thing. More for the food report than anything else though.

Now like I said, your 40, stop trying to get a last word in and more attention from the people whom you disagree with. Your too old to act like a spoiled child.

Eh…Tom’s not 40. Not for a few more years at least.

Great report on the good of the convention! I still am sad I missed out on the Olmos visit at dinner.

@Semysane: Your reading and cognitive skills need some work. The proven point was the fact that posting a mere mention of “BotFAIL” stirs a reactions from the proverbial peanut gallery. So – who is fucking with who? 🙂

@Tigermegatron: Really? In that case, thanks for reading my adventures of growing fatter by eating at exotic places… thus making it harder to walk around for more than a few hours at Hasbro trade shows. (I KID! I KID!)

@Lyn: Nor will I EVER be 40. My family celebrates the anniversaries of our 29th birthday. That’s how we roll.

Tom, I really couldn’t care less what you like to fuck. Stop hitting on me, it’s getting really uncomfortable.

    You’ll never be 40?

No, joke too easy and offensive even for me.

[…] In part one, I pointed out the awesomeness that was Dragon*Con 2010. My friends and I had a great time, met some new people, and even fit in some Man vs. Food meal location goodness. […]

Nice review of the good things. JDL can be a snob. Went to his panel two years ago at D*Con and all he wanted to discuss was yachts and opera. About half the room walked out and my friends and I gave up and did likewise after a while because it was just ridiculous.
