I wonder if he realizes that the “fanboy” that called him on his threat and threatened back is ACTUALLY bigger (mass and weight wise) than he is?

Anyway…yep. Ignorance Boy ignored everything I had to say, which isn’t really surprising, I guess. Proven by the fact that he didn’t even overanalyze anything I said.

I’d like to say thanks to everyone who defended Wasabi, too.

    So sad..

    About Mr. 6’5″

Maybe we should all get together a large party of all the Wasabi people, and attempt to find him. Then we can see what kind of flattening will occure. 🙂

Damn, the mear thought of that makes me laugh.

Jesus Tom. You’ve let this get way out of hand. I can’t believe Mr. Diplomacy would stoop to this level! Then again, I see what you pulled on my LJ.

What the hell has gotten into you lately?

you know…I could get into this now, after the fact, but nope. I’m not going to say a word, cause that’s me. Sweet, little, innocent, stay the hell outta Tom’s internet drama, me. ^_^ …except for four little words:

    I love you tom! ^_^

    Re: About Mr. 6’5″

Trust me when I say that not only is Dade not worth it, but it would be a HUGE disappointment.

All he would do is freak out, cry like a 12 year-old girl who skinned her knee, run away, and try to find a con staff person to help him with the “situation.”

6’5″ means nothing. He really is just a “sad sad little boy.”

    🙂

We’ll have better things to waste our time with at AFO4 than a “Dade-hunt.” AND if you bring sweet and sour sauce to the next party, remember the McNuggets!!!!

    In Dade’s case, ignorance isn’t just bliss…

    it’s a way of life.

I agree… this is a little more “animated” than the standard Tom. The drive behind it is a certain level of bullshit, though. It’s disappointing to see talented people work to accomplish amazing things just to have people (via different ways) try to pull it down.

There’s a time when diplomacy is needed… and a time for defense.

Imagine someone talking shit about your coveted Radio SciFi show, Mere… I think we know how you’d react to that one.

    Case and point.

People talk shit about it all the time 🙂 I don’t care, because I know what it is and isn’t. In the entertainment industry, Tom, you have to learn to not let opinions matter. At least those opinions of the people that don’t matter.

While I see your point, and agree to it to an extent, it’s still not 100% sound in this situation.

Let me rework the analogy. If someone called into Radio SciFi and talked shit ON THE SHOW, you would immediately come to the show’s defense (as you should.)

Wasabi Anime is a statewide community that relies heavily on Internet communication for its culture to flourish. I didn’t go seeking out Dade’s assinine comments; they were BROUGHT TO ME. The buzz got out about his words enough that it merited some sort of reaction.

Does his opinion count? Only to himself. But people tend to believe shit they read on the net…

For example, weren’t you the one that said the story of the 16 year old drunk girl being at the Wasabi Party was “all over LiveJournal?” Hence, we’ve begun talking around to make sure people know that miss teenage alcoholic was at a 5TH FLOOR PARTY AT METROCON WHEN THE POLICE ARRIVED. The Wasabi Party was strongly monitored by adults present and was on the FOURTH FLOOR.

So that is why all this has happened. In the end, if I can get one good quote out of it then I’m happy.

“Tom Croom… the Bill Gates of fandom.”

    🙂
